Fun ways to connect with your kids

Swimming pools, vacations, grilling out, and no school, you guessed it, summer is here. That means the kids are out of school and are looking for something fun to occupy their time. Before children reach their teen years parents are definitely the most influential people in their life. So that means kids are craving qualify time with you, their parents, this summer. Here are 5 ways to have fun with your kids that they are sure not to forget:

  • Go on a Daddy/Mommy Date with your child for lunch or dinner
  • Volunteer together something that is of interest to your child
  • Participate in “Take Your Child to Work Day”
  • Invent or make something together
  • Teach them something like how to fish, play a game/sport, or plant a flower.

Let us know how you plan to spend time connecting with your kids this summer!
