Self-Harm: Students in Pain

Emotional pain takes many forms, and sadly, self-harming behaviors are what young people commonly turn to in their effort to cope with feelings of worthlessness, sadness and anxiety.  The responsibility falls on parents, schools, and the community to be informed and prepared to help young people, especially those that resort to self-harm as a way to manage depression, trauma or anxiety.
