Social Networking

Social networking sites and blogs can make an impact on your current or potential job. The best advice one can heed is, err on the side of caution. If you would not want your mother to read or see what is on your Facebook account, then it would probably be best to not have that information available for your (future) employer to see either. According to Wikipedia, there are over 600 Million active users of Facebook in January 2011.  Below is a link to a website which offers advice on publicizing the depths of your life on social networking websites. I hope that this article helps you in your job hunt or secures your current job.

The article addresses: Job Search, Privacy Issues, Facebook, Web Site, and Blog Do’s and Don’ts.
