Relationship Spark – Get Creative Together!

Is improving your romantic relationship high on your list priorities for 2016?

One of the best things you can do for your relationship is to get creative and have fun together.

We have an upcoming Spark! date night event to provide you with an opportunity to do just that. I’ll get to that in a moment, but first let’s look at some of the benefits for couples who have fun and get creative together.

1. Increased Intimacy. Being creative is an opportunity to let go of our own self-judgment. Sharing those honest and vulnerable moments builds trust and is important to deepening intimacy and connection.

2. Strengthened Friendship. Getting creative and having fun together fosters friendship. Several relationship experts have identified friendship as being at the heart of successful couple’s relationships. A strong friendship builds the emotional bank account and gives us a cushion to draw on during the tough times.

3. Shared Experience and Meaning. When the two of you spend time creating something together, you are creating something that has the stamp of your relationship on it, as well as who each of you are individually. Your also creating fond memories for the two of you to draw upon.

If you are looking for an event that is designed to help couples connect and get creative, we’ve set one up for you!

Come join us for an out of the box (or “off the canvas”) experience. This unique experience will offer opportunities for fun, connection, communication, and making memories as you create one large painting on two separate canvases. A Masterpiece Mixers artist will provide you with all the supplies you need and guide you through the creation of the artwork. In the event that one of you is not Picasso – step by step instructions will be given so you can personalize your artwork to be specifically meaningful for both of you. During the event, two team members from GROW Counseling will facilitate several fun and easy couples activities to increase connection to you both.

More information and registration for the event can be found on our website!
