
Alaishyah is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Georgia State University. She has worked in the counseling field for numerous years providing individual therapy, family therapy, and group work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She works primarily with adolescents and young adults to address various concerns including life transitions, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma. Alaishyah prefers an integrated approach to treatment that includes cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered therapy to help her clients move toward a path of healing.
Alaishyah loves to empower her clients to work through any barriers that are keeping them from moving forward with their life goals. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, she creates an environment that fosters hope, resilience, and personal growth.
