Erika is a licensed professional counselor and received both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from the University of West Georgia. She completed her practicum and internship at Willowbrooke at Tanner and has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including private practice, inpatient, outpatient, and community agencies, and court-mandated settings such as DUI and Veteran Treatment Courts.

Erika works with individuals, teens, adults, families, and couples.

Erika customizes her treatment approaches for each client and walks with clients through the therapeutic journey together. Clients can expect a judgment-free space, unconditional positive regard, and an opportunity to be fully seen and heard each session.

Erika has been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and SAFE EMDR (Somatic & Attachment Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy). Erika regularly also utilizes Person-Centered, Narrative, Psychodynamic, and Attachment based interventions in sessions with clients. Erika is also certified through the University of Denver to practice Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
