Jennie appreciates that choosing to engage in counseling can be difficult and seeks to create a safe and supportive environment where people can find healing, hope, and restoration.

Prior to coming to GROW, Jennie provided counseling services in a variety of settings including school counseling, in-home therapy, and a Christian-based group practice.  She enjoys working with adults and teens on a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and codependency. Utilizing a trauma-informed approach, Jennie works with clients from an integrative and attachment-based perspective.

Jennie earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Georgia State University. She is also a Certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator.

Outside of counseling, Jennie enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Annie. She loves being involved with her church, and her hobbies include playing guitar, writing, kayaking, and watching college football in the fall.

Jennie is currently under the supervision of Terry Freeman, LPC, CPCS and Adam Glendye, LPC, CPCS.
