Nichole Walker is a graduate from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Cambridge College with a Master of Education in Guidance Counseling as well as a post-graduate certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy from Argosy University. She is a nationally certified counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) with extensive experience working with children, teens and families as a School Counselor in both the public and private school settings here in Atlanta, as well as in South Carolina. Throughout her career, she has worked with people from diverse backgrounds and socio-economic populations.

Nichole enjoys working with children and teens, focusing on developing the whole child and helping them to reach their personal best. She also assists parents with building stronger parent-child relationships and improving upon their parenting skills. Additionally, Nichole enjoys counseling couples, whether they are in the pre-marital stage or already married seeking insight on common marital issues.

Making sure clients feel safe, valued and heard are always a top priority. She establishes relationships with clients built on trust, which is a vital component along the counseling journey.

Nichole primarily integrates person-centered, goal oriented therapeutic approaches and tailors sessions to individual needs. She is receiving specialized training in play therapy techniques which utilize both directive and non-directive approaches when working with child clients.

Nichole is a member of several professional organizations: American Counseling Association (ACA), American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and Georgia Association for Play Therapy (GAPT). She is also a trained facilitator for the Prepare/Enrich Program, a widely used resource utilized when working with premarital and married couples.
