Porsha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s most personal challenges. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and later completed her Master’s degree in Family Therapy at Mercer University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Known for her warm, open, and supportive presence, Porsha creates a safe space where clients can explore their struggles with honesty and courage. Her work centers on building a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change and personal growth.
Porsha brings extensive experience and heartfelt passion to her work with couples facing issues such as anxiety, depression, infidelity, divorce, and blended family dynamics. Drawing on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and other integrative approaches, she helps partners break free from negative cycles and move toward deeper connection and healing.
With a specialized focus on working with professional athletes and their partners, Porsha understands the unique demands of high-performance lifestyles. She tailors her approach to support each client’s individual needs, offering guidance that respects their circumstances while encouraging emotional resilience and relational strength.
Porsha also incorporates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns that impact mood and behavior. She believes that the way we think shapes the way we live—and that meaningful change begins with the mind. As John Holmer Miller wisely said, “Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.”
