Rodd Schroy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. He received his Bachelors of Arts from Lee University and earned his Masters of Sciences degree in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University.

Rodd has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults providing individual and group therapy in settings such as inpatient hospitals and outpatient facilities. His areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, assertiveness training, spiritual issues, trauma, substance abuse, mood disorders, individualized counseling for relationships, men’s issues, and challenges presented to first responders and medical professionals.

Rodd holds strong therapeutic relationship in the highest esteem and finds it crucial to provide a non-intimidating environment for changes to occur in such relationships. He works collaboratively and creatively with each client to identify tools and techniques needed to overcome challenges and difficulties life presents.

Rodd believes in interactive sessions and works from a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Adlerian perspective to empower clients to manage their struggles in healthier ways.
