Anything But Sorry

The Canadian Down Syndrome Society recently released a fantastic PSA video series called the “S-Word” – whose goal is to educate people on how to react when someone gives birth to a baby with Down syndrome.  When a baby is born, parents are inundated with congratulations, and words of well wishes. However, many parents who give birth to a child with a disability hear “sorry” or other words of comfort instead.

The birth of every baby deserves to be celebrated though! If you aren’t sure what to say, the Anything But Sorry campaign is here to help.
